RAIDHO is a journey, and the realms are where we answer the call into the wild. Here, the road beckons you onward, and the campfire stays lit, welcoming you home at the adventure's end.
RAIDHO offers a place where we are free to explore the stories that shape our relationships with ourselves, our companions, and nature. We uncover the finer details of what is present in the lives we collectively share.
Behavior. Experiences. Beliefs. Patterns. Communication. Questions. Imagination.
By examining these tangible pieces of the larger landscape, we separate what we know from what we've interpreted, projected, and assumed.
By understanding what has become our story, we can reveal perspectives we may not have considered or been able to see.
Because the story we respond to influences how we participate.
BELIEVE
We hold belief systems personally, culturally, and collectively.
Tension arises when these beliefs become rigid and inflexible.
These beliefs that we create become the basis for the stories we speak.
ADJUST
New information gives us new perspectives, and new perspectives present different choices.
We decide what deserves our participation, make an adjustment, and discover what happens next.
INTERPRET
The stories we speak are interpretations that shape how we understand and express what is happening in our world.
Breaking down the story into relevant parts reveals the deeper layers we may have missed.
INVESTIGATE
We evaluate each piece of the story with what is actually happening.
Behavior, communication, intuition, dreams, and the perspectives of others may reveal something we couldn't see from inside our original interpretation.
Then we believe and interpret again.
Around we go.
The result isn't a perfect story. It's a more accurate one.
And when the story becomes more accurate, the choices become more workable.

The Philosophy
Curiosity is the only requirement.
We don't have to know where we're going before we begin.
Honesty is the wayfinder.
We notice what we're thinking, what our bodies are communicating, and where our reality challenges the story we'd prefer to tell.
Behavior is information. It isn't the whole story.
What happens in our lives gives us information. What we decide it means is interpretation.
Imagination lives here.
Possibility expands when we're willing to look beyond the explanation we've already chosen.
Stay long enough for the deeper story to reveal itself.
We don't rush toward an answer simply because uncertainty is uncomfortable.
In this realm, even the dead squirrel is a gift. (Probably.)
RAIDHO: An old word for a sacred journey.
Life In Relationship
I used to think my job was to find solutions for families who struggled with their dogs. To fix their relationships.
Then I looked inside my own internal house. I loved controlling myself and my dogs, in an attempt to assure a specific outcome.
(Ask me how that typically turns out.)
One day, I heard my pack's message loud and clear: Let us live our life. Hint: Not everything they do is about me. (How vain.)
Their lives are theirs. Their choices are theirs. Our adventure together begins with understanding one another differently.
What fun to do this with different species!
Eventually, I stopped working so hard to manage outcomes and began to stick around long enough to understand the story I spoke and what I was feeling as a result.
My desire to control softened.
Our life together changed.
Less fights. Less tension. More check-ins. More laughter.
Look. Listen. Stay. (Not the don't move kind of stay... well, not entirely anyway.)
